After graduating Bible college and getting married, David and Cherri Cooper were very active in Pastor Cooper’s home church in NJ. Both have dedicated their lives to following the Lord’s leading and ministering in whatever area the Lord directs. In 1982 they moved to New England to start planting churches. In October of 1993, with just a handful of people, they began holding public meetings at the Leddy School in Taunton, Massachusetts.

Though the Coopers had spent over 20 years planting churches, the decision was made that they stay at Silver City Baptist Church. Cherri Cooper has been an asset to the ministry with her years of experience in children’s ministry and her faithfulness to the Lord, her family, and her husband. Pastor Cooper has provided steady, consistent, Biblical leadership through the years. His strong points include people skills to effectively minister to individuals and families and a preaching/teaching ministry that provide practical application of God's Word to daily living.
